Hi, the quote is from ghamuse ketabe aghdas (by nosratollah hoseini) section avoiding animal abuse, page 263. The book is in farsi language.

Is it something what Abdul’baha had said? I know there are several quotes from Abdul’baha encouraging us all to be vegan/vegetarian,but unfortunately at the moment we are not forced to impose our views on others including the Baha’i community.

Thank you. I (like many other active vegans) am trying 2 educate caring people & give them the chance to think. Its our moral duty 2 oppose this unnecessary animal abuse that affects our lives in many negative ways (including vegans). Religion without humanity stinks!

Yes this quote is from Abdulbaha (safarnameh) his response when he was asked about eating animals.
Innocent animals suffer & die everyday because of meat eaters views! There is no specific time 2 fight cruelty. Kind hearted people always opposed these evil acts & now (thanx 2 technology) people could send their message easier. Bahais like other people consume animal products, ignore non-human animals suffering & R victims of greedy industries that value money not humanity.
The “banned Baha’i teachings” are their “Most Holy Book.”
They suppressed it and banned it to the Baha’is for a full 120 years.
It has instructions for hunting with falcons, though. So it really messed them up not having it available.

If talking about bahais in prison makes this vid political, then no bahai should worry pray 4 bahais in prison & try 2 help them cause this makes them political 2! B4 being a politician, physician, clergy, carpenter,.. we all should follow basics of living a humane life (if we call ourselves noble humans) which means not abusing others. How can caring bahai worry about bahais in trouble but not think about unnecessary harm she does 2 innocent others everyday because of following a certain habit!
